On Tuesday, RouteOne introduced what it called RouteOne On-Demand, a suite of application programming interface (API) services that are designed to power enterprise-level digital retailing solutions.

The company highlighted RouteOne On-Demand can enable the digital future of automotive retail with “unparalleled efficiency, flexibility, and customization capabilities to help deliver a modern, secure, compliant, and consumer-centered vehicle purchase experience, including financing and protection products.”

As consumers increasingly embark on their journeys through a multi-channel approach, RouteOne explained that it has extended its capabilities by deploying these same micro-services behind the scenes to integrated technology providers through access to on-demand APIs.

RouteOne’s On-Demand can power the entire F&I shopping and purchase process, including support for the ability to:

—Submit and receive credits applications and decisions

—Validate credit

—Validate customer identities

—Update supporting integrated systems

—Provide quotes for both purchase and payoff

—Display real-time aftermarket pricing and marketing tools

—Upload documentation

—Automate and validate eContracting deal structures

—eSign remotely

RouteOne pointed out adoption and utilization of its tools continue to increase year-over-year.

As an example, RouteOne’s Auto Submit feature, which allows industry partners to use their branded consumer-facing user interface to collect data, deliver to a dealer in RouteOne, and automatically submit to finance sources based on predetermined logic, has experienced:

—109% increase in the number of integrated partners since 2019

—240% increase in credit application volume since 2019

The company noted the RouteOne On-Demand suite of APIs was engineered with the same secure and compliant technology underpinnings of RouteOne’s in-store and showroom solution set.
