ANKENY, Iowa — General Motors honored its best-selling GM Certified Used Vehicles dealers on Thursday, and receiving this distinction for the fourth straight year was Karl Chevrolet in Ankeny, Iowa.

The store sold 1,418 CPO units last year, which topped more than 3,433 GM certified dealerships in the U.S.

"I truly believe in the strength of the GM Certified program," said Carl Moyer, the dealership's owner.

"It's a tool like none other in the industry. It instills pride within our sales department and confidence within the customer," Moyer added. "If you're a dealer that doesn't believe in this program, I highly recommend you take a closer look."

Also, Karl Chevrolet took home the Dealer of the Year award, an honor the store has was won six straight years going back to 2004.  Additionally, the dealership has received the Mark of Excellence for the ninth consecutive time, a string that dates back to 2001.

"Karl Chevrolet continues to prove that dealerships can thrive by offering consumers the best in value and service," shared Paul Pejza, manager of GM Certified Used Vehicles.

"As the certified used leader in the market, we understand the concerns consumers have when purchasing a used vehicle, so we make the buying experience effortless by providing a 117-point inspection, backed by a 100,000 mile or five-year limited powertrain warranty," he added.

Continuing on, GM spotlighted its regional Certified Used Vehicles top sellers for 2009, as well.
