CARY, N.C. — With repos and bankruptcies driving the subprime market segment, the 2006 National Remarketing Conference announces a timely workshop that will address this emerging topic. Slated to appear in two separate time slots, Nov. 1 at 2:00 p.m. and Nov. 3 at 9:00 a.m., are Randy Mayer of Huntington Bank, Jim Chapman of Credit Acceptance Corp. and Neal Boardman of Regional Acceptance Corp.

Mayer, Chapman and Boardman bring impressive and varied portfolios to the table, and plan to address such subjects as industry best practices, remarketing challenges and their effects on the wholesale and retail sides.

"The subprime market is both a growing challenge and opportunity for OEMs and dealers, and having the experience of three respected executives to shed light on such a trend will be of great benefit to those attending the National Remarketing Conference." said conference co-chair, Bill Zadeits.

This announcement coincides with the launch of www.subprimenews.com and the companion e-newsletter SubPrime News Update. The Web site is slated to go live on Aug. 31, and the e-newsletter will hit inboxes on Sept. 7. Both the Web site and the e-newsletter will serve as the top online resources for up-to-date developments in the subprime market. Additionally, the print version of the brand-new SubPrime Auto Finance News will launch Oct. 9 with a powerful readership consisting of 50,000-plus used car dealers.

"We are excited about the release of Subprimenews.com and the entire SubPrime media brand," said Ron Smith, publisher. "We feel that we have identified a need in the market and know that there is vital information to be shared."
