The RVI Group has hired David McKay as vice president of business development and sales in the company’s passenger vehicle department.

For the RVI Group, which offers residual value insurance and financial and analytical services, McKay’s responsibilities will include business development, which includes sales and product design. Auto industry asset value protection insurance products will be an area of focus. He will lead, develop and execute marketing and sales projects. Those include residual value insurance and analytical services products.

McKay will also be responsible for developing and managing client and business partner relationships, along with additional corporate projects.

McKay offers auto industry, analytics and business development experience, with his most recent role being independent senior business consultant for Siporin & Associates.

Before that position, he served as chief operating officer for IBH Analytics and as senior consultant/global product lead for IHS Markit.

He held additional posts for R.L. Polk & Company, Audatex and J.D. Power.
