Chrome Systems Rolls Out New Tool for BMW Web Site
PORTLAND, Ore. — Chrome Systems announced on Wednesday that it is now providing an enhanced vehicle comparison tool for the BMW USA Web site.
Executives from the DealerTrack subsidiary explained that BMW's Web site now can enable visitors to highlight the features, specifications and advantages of the manufacturer's vehicles in side-by-side comparisons. The enhancements also can provide consumers with the chance to compare, save and e-mail up to four vehicles at one time.
With the addition of images from eVox Productions, consumers also can view side-by-side image comparisons of up to four vehicles simultaneously.
The company went on to highlight that Chrome Construct Web services delivered this new solution and an intuitive user interface design. Chrome claims the new look significantly enhances the automaker's Web site and the consumer experience.
"Chrome Construct gives automakers access to unbiased, accurate and timely content about their vehicles and their competitors' vehicles, enabling them to create complete consumer-facing vehicle presentations," company executives explained.
Amit Maheshwari, general manager of DealerTrack Data Services, elaborated on the work Chrome did to enhance BMW's Web site.
"In today's challenging market, automakers must deliver the comprehensive vehicle information that consumers are looking for if they want to drive sales," Maheshwari noted.
"Chrome's ability and willingness to support the implementation process allowed BMW to fully replace its previous vehicle comparison solution with an easy-to-use and robust tool, and to do it very quickly," Maheshwari concluded.
