Contact At Once, Carfax Partner
ATLANTA and CENTREVILLE, Va. — Contact At Once and Carfax announced a partnership on Wednesday that's intended to make dealer-purchased Carfax Vehicle History Reports available when consumers chat online with dealer personnel.
Dealers who use the Contact At Once online chat solution now can determine if a vehicle being discussed has a Carfax Report. A link to the report now can be shared during a chat session.
Executives stressed the deal is meant to augment window-sticker designations and other marketing strategies dealers might use that focus on the availability of Carfax information.
"Carfax and Contact At Once are working together to help dealers enhance their customers' shopping experience," explained Larry Gamache, communications director at Carfax.
"When you give buyers what they want, you sell cars faster and make more money," Gamache added.
Marc Hayes, executive vice president and founder of Contact At Once, expanded on Gamache's point about this partnership is meant to help dealers.
"We provide car dealership chat software that helps sell more cars," Hayes insisted
"Sales people using our car dealership chat software are particularly effective when the right information is at their fingertips, including valuable vehicle history information from Carfax," he concluded.
