Drawing on what company executives called a “deep roster of talent,” Manheim has promoted two veteran team members to general manager positions.

The company announced on Tuesday that Danny Brawn has been appointed general manager for the Manheim Chicago Market Center, and Brian Walker has been named general manager of Manheim Nevada.

In this role, Brawn will serve as the central leader for the Chicago and Milwaukee auction locations that share management and support functions.

Brawn started his career with Manheim in 2005.

Skilled in sales operations and management, customer retention, and dealer management, Manheim highlighted that Brawn has held several key positions and leadership roles at various Manheim locations. They include dealer sales manager at Manheim Kentucky, general sales manager at Manheim Portland, assistant general manager at Manheim Phoenix, and general manager positions at Manheim Darlington and, most recently, Manheim Nevada.

With Brawn’s new role, Walker shifts to his new post in the Midwest.

Walker started his career at Manheim in 2008 as a commercial administrator and has progressed to key leadership positions at Manheim El Paso and Manheim Dallas. Since 2018, he has served as general manager of Manheim Houston.

Over the years, Walker — and IARA Certified Auto Remarketer and a licensed auctioneer — has helped his auction teams win various honors such as Auction of the Year awards from Capital One, Westlake, Kia and Hyundai.

“Our deep roster of talent allows us to draw on strong leaders like Danny and Brian to help our clients navigate an unpredictable industry and wholesale environment,” said Alan Lang, division vice president at Manheim. “We look forward to the tremendous value they will bring to our clients, team members and communities in their new positions.”
