ALPHARETTA, Ga. — LeasePlan USA appointed a new vice president of sales for the West region on Monday. Named to the position is Kathy Fairbanks, who has 22 years of experience in sales and management.

In her new position, Fairbanks will head up new business development in the mid- and large-fleet market segments for her territory, which includes the states of California, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon and Washington.

Fairbanks will report to national sales vice president Buck Whitman.

Her prior work includes roles as vice president of new business development for CitiCaptial Fleet Services and as a customer service account executive at US Fleet Leasing.

"Kathy will be an asset to the LeasePlan sales team," Whitman noted. "She has extensive experience, in-depth knowledge of the industry, and the ability to deliver upon LeasePlan's commitment to proactive service excellence."
