FirstLook Unveils Consumer Value Accelerator at NADA
CHICAGO — FirstLook announced the unveiling of its Consumer Value Accelerator at the 2010 National Automobile Dealers Association Conference in Orlando, Fla.
In what the company is calling another industry first in the FirstLook Retail Performance System, the Consumer Value Accelerator is an inventory sales tool that will enable dealers to more successfully sell to today's Internet savvy consumers, officials explained.
The program is designed to empower dealers with instant insight into much of the vast array of information consumers learn in their hours of research online.
"With the majority of consumers beginning their shopping process online, the amateur often knows more than the pro," said Pat Ryan, founder and chief executive officer of FirstLook.
"The Consumer Value Accelerator was developed to level the playing field between consumers and dealers by empowering dealers with the information that they need to succeed by selling value instead of haggling over prices," he added.
The program is based on FirstLook's work in Consumer Optimization technologies. Officials said Consumer Optimization technologies is the leading edge of consumer marketing and sales solutions.
Ryan concluded, "With the Consumer Value Accelerator, we are catching the dealer negotiation process up to today's Internet consumer. Dealers who embrace Consumer Optimized Selling through the Value Accelerator can position themselves to improve their closing rate and profitability while raising their CSI ratings."
